The White Pekin Ducks

The White Pekin ducks can be described as broiler ducks for their rapid growth attaining a weight of 3 - 3.5 kgs in just 6 -7 weeks.

The hen (female) matures and begins laying at 20 -24 weeks while the drake (male) matures almost a month later. Once it starts laying, you're most likely to count between 180 and 280 eggs a year depending on how you feed them.
